TUMBLING

Tumbling is a form of gymnastics performed without props or equipment. Also referred to as floor gymnastics, common moves performed in tumbling include flips, somersaults, tucks, handstands and handsprings, back tucks, lay-outs, etc. We specialize in building tumbling skills from the basics to the most technical. We offer a wide variety of classes for athletes ages 3 & up.

Tumbling Levels

Red Elite Tumbling

(Beginner)

This class is designed to teach tumbling fundamentals. Our athletes will work on flexibility, front walkovers, back walkovers, handstands, cartwheels, round offs, forward and backward rolls, and all drills to help athletes progress to the next level. The class will also continue to focus on drills, conditioning, and flexibility needed for elite tumbling.

Gold Elite Tumbling

(Intermediate)

This class is designed for the beginner tumbler, who has MASTERED all tumbling fundamentals and is ready for dedicated focus on skills at the intermediate level. Emphasis will be placed on back extension rolls, mastering the standing back handspring, as well as the connection of the round-off and back handspring. The athlete will train progressions while being encouraged to take it to the next level. This class will also continue to focus on drills, conditioning, and flexibility to progress towards the elite tumbling skills.

Silver Elite Tumbling

(Advanced)

This class is for the intermediate tumbler who is ready to master the aerial, back tuck from a roundoff /RO back handspring. Additionally, at this level, we begin focusing on front tumbling, and combination passes, including punch fronts, front handspring, fly spring. The class will also continue to focus on drills, conditioning, and flexibility to progress towards the elite tumbling skills.

Black Elite Tumbling

(Masters)

This class is for the tumbler who has mastered skills through the Silver Elite level and is progressing towards more advanced skills, including whips, layouts, higher-level jump to tumble combinations. The class will also continue to focus on drills, conditioning, and flexibility to progress towards the elite tumbling skills.
